Don Rutherford

Executive Director

During Don’s tenure at the helm, West Coast has grown from being a small (but powerful) dealership to the UK’s #1 in 2020. He’s been involved in the motorcycle business since starting Scotbike in 1979 and then when the opportunity arose to join West Coast in 2003 he grabbed it with both hands. He has a passion for detail and CXI – or in other words keeping our customers happy! Don is now working with the senior management team at West Coast as our Executive Director and is still very passionate about our business.

David Hackshall

Managing Director

As part of our continued growth, West Coast Harley-Davidson is delighted to welcome David Hackshall as our new Managing Director (effective end of May 2021). David has many years' experience in the industry having run an H-D dealership early in his career before progressing to work for the Motor Company in Oxford, developing their business throughout the UK and Europe. Most recently David was the country manager for Harley-Davidson Canada having held the same role in the UK for almost 9 years.

Fiona Rutherford

Sales Director

Fiona will be a familiar face to many of you having been part of the family business since 2002. Starting in motorclothes and moving over to sales in 2008 she has grown and true love for Harley-Davidson and enjoys riding when she can which isn't often these days with a young family taking priority. Fiona believes that exceptional customer service is what makes our business different from the rest and is the driving force behind the way we look after our customers. Fiona believes that great sales start and finish with outstanding service and that philosophy sits at the heart of everything she does.

After a short time away from the business she’s back where she belongs leading the sales team with experience and passion. Harley-Davidson is in her blood, with her favourite memory being an unforgettable ride with her dad through the Rocky Mountains, cruising from Vegas to Denver. Her bike of choice? The ever-iconic Street Glide. When it comes to Harleys, Fiona doesn’t just sell the dream - she lives it.

Scott Hendry

Sales Lead

Meet Scott, our Motorcycle Sales Lead and the engine of the showroom. He’s been with us since 2018 and brings energy, tenacity, and drive to everything he does. With a gift for persuasion that could convince ice to move to the Arctic, Scott is a cheeky chap and easily one of the friendliest salespeople you’ll ever meet.

He's had his licence since he was a wee laddie and his first bike was a Honda CB250 Super Dream. Don't let that fool you he's ridden a few Harley's in his time and has owned a Sportster 48. His all time favourite is a Fat Bob because of the power, torque and noise it makes - give's him a cheeky grin. He goes above and beyond for his customers every single time - no exceptions. Frankly, we’re not quite sure how we’d function without him.

Ross Walker

Sales Executive

Meet Ross, our towering Harley-Davidson Sales Advisor and resident big friendly bear. Standing at 6ft 6, you probably noticed him first in the dealership café in 2018 before he swapped coffee for chrome and joined the sales team in 2022. Ross is also our Clyde Valley HOG Chapter Manager and works closely with the committee throughout the year on events in house and out, not to mention his incredible talent for artwork which you will see in many parts of the dealership.

With a huge passion for Harley-Davidson, Ross currently rides a customised Low Rider S which has been a dream bike of his for some time now. Ross lives for the open road and has clocked up plenty of unforgettable road trips across Scotland, but his ultimate memories are with his best friend Craig riding Harleys in Vegas. Friendly, knowledgeable, and impossible to miss, Ross is always happy to help you find your next adventure.

Joelle Pelham-Stephens

Sales and Finance Administrator

Meet our Finance & Sales Administrator, imported straight from the USA and built with precision. She grew up around Harleys, with one of her earliest memories being perched on the tank of her dad’s bike, feeling the rumble long before she could reach the pegs. With a background in the military and as a teacher, she’s sharp, organised, and refreshingly straight to the point (no fools entertained). When she’s not keeping the numbers in line, she’s at home with her husband and their five Siberian Huskies. Efficient, intelligent, and Harley through and through, she keeps the sales department running as smoothly as a well-tuned V-twin.

Scott Raworth

Service Manager

Meet Scott, our Service Manager who joined the West Coast Harley-Davidson team in 2025, bringing with him a passport full of experience and a serious passion for aftersales excellence.

Scott has a wealth of aftersales managerial experience for major automotive brands across the globe, including Infiniti in Saudi Arabia and Jaguar Land Rover in Cambodia. With that level of international know-how, it’s no surprise he runs one of the busiest service departments with precision, professionalism, and a strong focus on what matters most: delivering an exceptional customer experience, every single time.
You’ll find Scott front and centre at the service desk (yes, there are two—just to keep you on your toes!), ready to help as soon as you walk through the door, so don’t be shy, he’s always happy to say hello.

While Scott doesn’t yet hold a motorcycle licence, he’s already got his sights firmly set on a Softail Breakout… so watch this space. Once that licence comes through, we may struggle to get him off it

Laura Campinho

Aftersales Advisor

Meet Laura, our Aftersales Advisor who joined us in 2025 and quickly became one of the friendly voices of West Coast Harley-Davidson. Of Portuguese descent but a Londoner born and bred, Laura made the bold move north to Glasgow with her partner Kirsty, and we’re very glad she did.

Before swapping coffee shots and tyre checks for Harley-Davidson aftersales, Laura built a rock-solid background from many roles including a barista and most recently at Kwik Fit, giving her the perfect blend of customer care, technical know-how, and calm-under-pressure problem solving. Known for her exceptional attention to detail, Laura always goes the extra mile to make sure every customer is looked after properly.

You’ll most often speak to her on the phone as she’s based upstairs in the office, but you’ll spot her at the front counter from time to time, so be sure to say hello. You genuinely won’t find a friendlier face.

Eric McWaters

Rentals Manager & Logistics

A well known face to many of our long term customers, Eric keeps tabs on our Rental Bikes operation as well as dashing about the countryside delivering these beauties to their new owners waiting with open arms - we reckon he's got one of the best jobs here actually. His experience with the brand (owning two Harleys® helps a bit too!) helps him give the very best of advice and of course help you get the very best of what Harley® and West Coast have to offer.

Scot Clark

Custom Specialist

Scot, our Custom Specialist, joined West Coast Harley-Davidson in 2025, and brings with him over 30 years of automotive parts experience. If you’re looking for a part for your bike, you’re absolutely in the best hands.

Scot doesn’t just know Harley-Davidson parts inside and out, he lives them. He’s the proud owner of a 2002 V-Rod, giving him first-hand experience of what your bike needs. That said, there have been some quiet (and not-so-quiet) whispers that he’s got his eye on the Softail range… who could blame him.

When he’s not keeping bikes on the road, Scot is a very proud dad and spends his spare time coaching his son’s football team, proving his skills extend well beyond the parts counter. You’ll find Scot at the front desk, always on hand with a friendly welcome and expert advice whenever you need it.

Keith Pyatt

Master Technician

Keith, our Master Technician, has 20 years of Harley-Davidson experience, and 15 of those years he’s spent with us. It’s such a pleasure having Keith with us every day as there’s not much he doesn’t know and he always offers well thought-out solutions. Such a dedicated individual who will always go above and beyond to ensure the job is done right. The man is a genius with a serious eye for the finer detail. Keith has completed many Harley® factory training courses. Whatta guy - and he is all ours!

Terry Hall

Master Technician

Meet Terry- A true Harley-Davidson Expert. With over 18 years of experience in the automotive industry, Terry’s journey began as a car mechanic. But his passion for motorcycles led him to Harley-Davidson, where he’s honed his skills in aftersales at dealerships in both England and Hong Kong.

Terry has recently been awarded his Master Technician certificate through Harley-Davidson factory training. Terry's hard work and dedication will ensure that your Harley-Davidson is kept running to the best of its ability, all year round.

Paddy Doherty

Senior Technician

Pat was a good customer & frequent visitor with West Coast before joining the team in March 2017. He has been a great addition as not only is he a died in the wool Harley enthusiast, owner and rider but has a strong engineering and fabrication background. Pat has elevated our ability to customise in house to a much higher level. In his own words, “There is nothing that can’t be done”. He is the life and soul of the workshop with his ‘fantastic’ patter (...well that’s what we tell him anyway!)

Ryan Campbell

Advanced Technician

Meet Ryan who went from Apprentice to Harley-Davidson Pro.
Ryan joined our team during his third year of college as an apprentice and quickly made his mark, earning Apprentice of the Year twice at Motherwell College. Since completing his apprenticeship, he’s continued to excel, achieving Advanced Technician status through Harley-Davidson Factory training.

With plans to pursue further training, Ryan is on track to join the ranks of our Master Technicians. His dedication and skill are a true asset to our team—and to your Harley.

Aidan Baillie

Apprentice Technician

Meet Aidan, a first-year apprentice technician who’s already started his career in style, landing his very first job at our state-of-the-art, family-owned Harley-Davidson dealership. Not a bad place to learn the trade. Aiden spends his days getting hands-on with some of the finest machines on the road, soaking up knowledge and honing his skills one Harley at a time.

He currently rides a Dyna Super Glide, though his ambitions stretch far beyond just one model—his long-term plan is simple: experience the entire Harley-Davidson range. When he’s not in the workshop turning spanners and learning the ropes, Aiden enjoys gaming and fishing, both of which have helped him master patience, focus, and timing, skills that serve him just as well in the service department.

Martyn Paterson

Motorcycle Detailer

Martyn joined us in June 2022, his hobby has been detailing for over 20 years. Detailing bikes, cars.... even C90's! Martyn's first bike was a ZX6R, but his all time favourite bike is his Suzuki B-King which he's owned since new and it still looks like it just came out the store! Martyn has a real passion for rejuvenating motorcycles and he enjoys turning his talents to Ultras.

Craig Duncan

Motorcycle Detailer

Craig brings a wealth of experience to the West Coast team, with many years in detailing, including time at BMW. A true bike enthusiast, he rides a BMW 1200 GS Adventure, exploring the UK’s hidden gems with his partner. A former Harley Electra Glide owner, Craig has a deep appreciation for all things two-wheeled—especially road racing. Whether it’s Irish road racing, speedway, or the legendary Isle of Man TT, you’ll find Craig following the action. When he’s not on the road, he enjoys venturing down paths less traveled. Just don’t offer him anything too spicy—heat’s not his thing!

Rebecca Nisbet

Clothing Manager

Meet Becky, our MotorClothes Manager and resident ray of sunshine. She’s been part of the West Coast Harley-Davidson family since 2020, with a brief pit stop in Sales Admin before returning to her perfect fit in MotorClothes. Bubbly, friendly, and always happy to go the extra mile, Becky brings a wealth of retail experience and endless enthusiasm to everything she does. Now leading the department, she’s working hard to make MotorClothes a standout success, making sure you look as good as your Harley feels.

Becky enjoys being part of the team here at West Coast describing the team as more like a family and especially enjoys our events because she loves a good party.

Chloe 'Hal' Paton

Clothing Assistant

Once a bouncer, now the friendly enforcer of good vibes—there’s no funny business when Hal’s on shift. But don’t let the past fool you; Hal’s as bubbly as they come, a self-proclaimed nerd with a deep love for motorsports. Whether it’s MotoGP, the Isle of Man TT or F1... if it’s fast and on two (or four) wheels, Hal’s all over it.

Beyond the dealership, Hal brings an artistic edge to the West Coast, with a background in short film and community arts. From motorbikes to movies, there’s always a creative spark behind that big personality.

Connor Edenborough

Marketing Manager

Connor joined West Coast in October 2019 as a Marketing Assistant and has steadily progressed from being the Marketing Lead to the Marketing Manager. It's safe to say there's not a piece of tech or creative that he doesn't know about and when he's not creating content Connor can be found exploring the West Coast on his bike!

Heather McMillan

Cafe Manager

Strong, sharp-witted, and absolutely not for sharing her food—Heather is West Coast Harley-Davidson's resident powerhouse.

A gym enthusiast and weightlifter, there's a good chance she can outbench you and still have energy left to bake legendary cheesecakes and cookies.

When she’s not lifting weights, she’s lifting spirits—with a killer sense of humor, a love for whisky tasting and a deep appreciation for good music and tattoos.

Joe Gorton

Financial Controller

Joe joins West Coast as part of our Accounting Department. Casting a detailed eye over invoicing and management accounts for Triumph. Joe is also skilled in rocking out on guitar and gained his bike licence in 2020. He follows WorldSBK and MotoGP, so it's unsurprising his favourite bike in the Triumph line up is the Street Triple RR.

Shannon

Accounts Assistant

Meet Shannon, our accounts assistant and the bubbliest member of the team. Sharp, on the pulse, and armed with a wealth of accounts experience, she keeps our numbers in check while making the office a brighter place every day. If you hear someone singing in the background, it’s probably Shannon, spreading joy one excel spreadsheet at a time.

Based in the office, you might not see her often on the dealership floor, but if you call accounts, it's likely Shannon you'll speak to and she's always ready to delight, solve problems, and make sure things run as smoothly as a Harley.

Tom Nibloe

Ambassador

Tom’s journey with us goes back to our North Street days, making him a true part of the family. A retired mechanic who later worked as an oil field engineer, Tom has traveled far and wide—including stints in Dubai and Africa—but he’s always found his way back to the dealership.

A proud owner of an Ultra Classic Rushmore, Tom’s passion for motorcycles runs deep. Outside of riding, he’s a big fan of swimming and can’t resist a good cappuccino. You’ll usually find him at the dealership every Friday and Saturday, ready to share his stories and expertise. Stop by and say hello—he’d love to chat bikes (and maybe grab a cappuccino, too).
