Fat Boy 30th Anniversary

POSTED: 22/07/2020

2020 is a particularly important year for Harley-Davidson as it marks the 30th anniversary of the iconic Fat Boy motorcycle. Introduced in 1990, the original Fat Boy was designed by legendary Harley-Davidson stylists Willie G. Davidson and Louie Netz and combined a fresh, contemporary look with classic Harley-Davidson styling cues. Now a bestselling model, the Fat Boy has appeared in a number of TV shows and movies over the years, most notably in 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

To mark this special milestone, Harley-Davidson recently introduced the Fat Boy 30th Anniversary motorcycle. With its dark finish with bronze highlights, the 30th Anniversary Fat Boy, at first sight, stole many hearts. However, limited to a production run of just 2,500 examples, customers and fans of Harley-Davidson quickly snapped up these special motorcycles in double-quick time so this model sold out. Fast!

However, we do have some good news…

While it is impossible to supply a new 30th Anniversary Fat Boy, it is possible to replicate. Customers and existing owners of Milwaukee-Eight 107 and 114-powered Softail Fat Boy models can now order an official Harley-Davidson Accessory Pack to detail their Fat Boy to the same blacked out stance to set it well and truly apart.

The 35-piece Accessory Pack features an array of replacement gloss and matt black parts; from pushrod covers to fork covers, headlight nacelle to matching rocker case covers, black slotted foot controls and more.
